Welcome to Anahit Tsitsikian's official website, a corner where information about the first internationally recognized Armenian female-violinist is posted. Being a virtuoso soloist, who has given concerts in about 100 cities around the world, at the same time she has been a professor at the Armenian State Conservatory for about 40 years, a journalist, author of more than 300 articles, radio and TV programs. At the same time, she was engaged in scientific activity all her life, being the first to restore and present the systematic history of the Armenian performing arts. Anahit Tsitsikian has dedicated the last 20 years of her life to the fundamental research of the ancient history of Armenian music, in essence establishing a new direction of Armenian musicology - “Musical Archaeology”.
