Anahit Tsitsikian released 4 (four) vinyl records in the USSR in the 1960s.
Vinyl One - "Art Pieces of Armenian Composers Written for Violin and Orchestra", included new pieces by young authors. Two of these works, Edward Baghdasaryan's "Rhapsody" and Erik Harutyunyan's "Concert Poem" were dedicated to the violinist as the co-author of those works, and the first performer. The recording was made in Moscow with the USSR Radio և Television Orchestra under the direction of Igor Blazhkov and Maxim Shostakovich. Here is what the musicologist, editor of the "Soviet Music Encyclopedia" I. M. Yampolsky wrote, “In these works, the deep charm of Armenian melodies comes alive with its unique harmony, bright sunshine and capricious rhythm, which are reflected in the rich virtuoso instrumental texture. Anahit Tsitsikian excellently transfers the emotional richness, colorful spectrum of Armenian composers' music, warm lyricism and fiery essence. "
Vinyl Two - “Ancient and Modern Melodies of Armenia” included Armenian music from the Middle Ages up to the present day. It has been performed with the unique duet of a violin and organ (organist - Artur Adamyan). Recorded at the Domsky Cathedral in Riga.
The other two albums are collective, where Anahit Tsitsikian presents Erik Harutyunyan's "Concert-Poem" with other performers.
Her records were highly praised by critics in Armenia and abroad. Even from faraway Japan responded to them. An unexpected letter arrived from Master F. Fujito, Head of the Japanese Publishing Association and Author of the “Who’s Who in Music” Encyclopedia. He was so fascinated by the violinist's powerful violin voice that he decided to include her name in the encyclopedia. Amusingly, he was absolutely sure that the performer was a man. In his letter to the composer Erik Harutyunyan he wrote, “Please, ask Mr. Anahit Tsitsikian to send us his biography, so that we can enter him into the next edition of our encyclopedia.”
